Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Engineer sought by DISH Network LLC in American Fork, UT.
Develop test cases for product & feature use cases for client application on Roku platform. Conduct Audio/Video streaming testing (Manual & Automation) on IOS and ReactNative-based apps platform by applying streaming technology knowledge. Create automation scripts using Automation framework based on Selenium using IOS and ReactNative-based apps. Validate various IOS and ReactNative-based platform specific channel certification requirements and write automation test scripts for these certification requirements. Write scripts for debugging using Fiddler/Charles. Set up CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins Job, and maintain build script and IOS and ReactNative-based release package creation tool. Log defects with all relevant details (debug logs, network logs, initial root cause analysis, etc.) and track the defect to closure. Communicate status of the testing with the project manager. Explore new techniques and tools in testing and share this with others involved in the testing process.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field plus 3 years of experience in job offered or similar roles. Also requires 3 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Java, Python, Java Script, or Shell Scripting.
- Automation tools and frameworks including Selenium/TestNG, Espresso, Appium, API testing, Fiddler, Charles, Postman, or JMeter.
- Automation testing of Roku applications and Roku certification.
- Roku Test tools including Deep Linking Tester, Stream tester.
- seWng up/configuring Jenkins build setups.
- Audio/Video streaming technologies and experience on testing audio/video streaming applications.
- Development of test scenarios and automation scripts for different test phases of client-server applications on Roku.
- Automation Framework Development and Maintenance
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $150,411.27/Year
