Job Description

• Customize WordPress templates to meet design and functionality requirements.
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into custom WordPress themes.
• Optionally, convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into WordPress themes using theme builders (such as Divi, Elementor, Oxygen, Gutenberg, or WP Bakery).
• Customize existing WordPress plugins to meet specific project needs.
• Develop custom WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.
• Optimize websites for performance, including media offloading and efficient asset management.
• Implement basic SEO practices to ensure website search engine optimization.
• Implement XHTML/CSS for responsive and modern web layouts.
• Utilize JavaScript frameworks like jQuery to enhance website interactivity.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure the website meets project specifications and delivers a seamless user experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in WordPress template customization and theme development.
• Proficiency in converting Figma/Adobe XD designs into WordPress themes.
• Expertise in using at least two of the following WordPress theme builders: Divi, Elementor, Oxygen, Gutenberg, WP Bakery.
• Experience in customizing and developing WordPress plugins.
• Knowledge of website optimization techniques, including media offloading.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them in website development.
• Strong proficiency in XHTML/CSS for modern and responsive website layouts.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly jQuery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines accurately.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Amenable to work onsite, Cebu City

Must-Have Skills:

• WordPress, Figma, Adobe XD, WordPress Template Customization, Plugin Customization, XHTML/CSS, jQuery, Website Optimization, Basic SEO.

Good-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with WordPress Builders (Divi, Elementor, Oxygen, Gutenberg, WP Bakery), Plugin Development, Media Offloading, Website Performance Optimization.
