ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Job responsibilities:
- Perform Telematics ECU Software testing using CAN, REST API tests, Test Automation for Frontend/ UI for Business partner portals) and Backend Applications
- Derive test cases/scenarios from the requirement specification, create test plans & execution
- Responsible for providing estimates for the tasks, perform planning and execute in each Sprint
- Test Automation: Achieve automation for feasible test cases
- Perform Impact Analysis and come out with strategy to adapt new features/changes
- Take ownership and keep the Target Test Suites up to date with latest features for each release
- Create and maintain test bench setups
- Technically mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the existing practices with fresh thoughts to improve productivity

- Hands on experience in UI automation using Selenium / Playwright or equivalent tools, API automation using RestAPI or equivalent tools and ECU test automation using Python or equivalent language
- Hands on Experience in Telematics domain with good understanding of Telematics Control Unit, Telematics use cases and how everything fits in the context of IoT
- Working knowledge of Cloud & Backend communications with Telematics Control unit.
- Experience in working with Operating system - Linux like environment
- Experience in Automotive domain, with exposure to in vehicle networks
- Experience in variety protocols from different layers – Serial protocols, CAN, UDS, TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, Ethernet
- Having been a part of an Agile/ SaFe team
- Good understanding of Apache-Maven, Git, and other source code management tools
- Hands on experience in Test management and defect management tools like JIRA, Xray or Zephyr tool or equivalent
- Good to have – experience in DevOps
- Experience in – shell scripting, python scripting

Must have:
- Bachelor of Engineering / MCA professional with ~4 to 5- years of overall experience in Portal, Backend system & Embedded systems validation
- Hands on experience in UI automation using Selenium / Playwright or equivalent tools, API automation using RestAPI or equivalent tools and ECU test automation using Python or equivalent language
- Hands on Experience in Telematics domain with good understanding of Telematics Control Unit, Telematics use cases and how everything fits in the context of IoT

Skills Required

- ECU test automation experience using Python or an equivalent language
- Hands-on experience in the telematics domain, including Telematics Control Units, telematics use cases, and IoT context
- Working knowledge of cloud and backend communications with Telematics Control Units
- Experience working with Linux-like operating systems
- Automotive domain experience with exposure to in-vehicle networks
- Experience with serial protocols, CAN, UDS, TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, and Ethernet
- Experience working as part of an Agile or SAFe team
