Engineer / Senior Engineer - Reel & Winder
We are looking for an Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our team in Pune, India. In this role, you will contribute to engineering activities for paper and board machine environments, with a focus on plant engineering, 3D modelling, drawings, and bill of material creation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and subcontracted engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support project execution, procurement, manufacturing, and installation.
Main responsibilities:
- Efficiently prepare layout, schematic and detailed drawing
- Ensure designs are based on the established standards and specifications
- Maintain existing engineering record and designs
- Create and maintain bill of materials.
- Technical product support to the internal and external customers
- Project engineering and product improvements
- Participation to the technology team’s work
- Product Safety
- Support to procurement activities
- Participation to the delivery projects and customer audits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical field.
- Good technical knowledge in mechanical engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Catia V6 and AutoCAD 2D design tools.
- Previous experience in Reel & Winder engineering of Board/Paper machines is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret fluid system diagrams and technical documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Willingness to travel, within India & globally
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field
