We are looking for a talented and result-oriented design engineer to join our creative team. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of engineering duties including designing, detailing, and releasing designs to manufacturing. Then chosen engineer will also collaborate with product centre across the globe for design support, using the in-depth knowledge of the latest design trends, engineering software’s, analytical and creative skills.
Main responsibilities:
• Efficiently prepare layout, schematic and detailed drawing
• Ensure designs are based on the established standards and specifications
• Maintain existing engineering record and designs
• Create and maintain bill of materials.
• Technical product support to the internal and external customers
• Project engineering and product improvements
• Participation to the technology team’s work
• Product Safety
• Support to procurement activities
• Participation to the delivery projects and customer audits
To be successful in this role, you will need to have
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• 8 to 10 years of professional experience
• Proficient with Catia V6 (Preferred) or other 3D Modelling software.
• Experience in WetEnd/DryEnd/Finishing section engineering of Paper & Board machines would be preferred.
• Knowledge of welding process and GD&T requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other languages are a merit.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, metallurgy.
• Willingness to travel, within India & globally
Skills Required
- 8 to 10 years of professional engineering experience
