- Design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using ETL (Talend), Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake
- Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical designs and implementations.
- Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data, analytics, and visualization teams to deliver high-quality data products.
- Develop and maintain detailed functional and technical documentation.
- Support solutioning efforts across design, testing, and implementation phase.
- Ensure data governance, security, and privacy standards are embedded into data pipelines.
- Contribute to data modernization initiatives by defining patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve data engineering capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- At least 5 years in-depth, data engineering experience and execution of any ETL (Talend/ Datastage) data pipelines, scripting and SQL queries
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Azure cloud environment with Azure Function, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Event Grid, Azure data lake, Azure Data factory
- A minimum of 1 year of experience on hands-on coding in python and/or Pyspark on Azure Databricks environment
3 years of experience working in Agile and Scrum frameworks - Good knowledge of Data warehousing and ability to understand star schema
- Work experience in relational database and hands-on on writing SQL queries, stored procedure extensively
- Experience in ETL (4+ years) for implementing large scale Data Engineering projects
- Experience in Data Engineering and DevOps knowledge
- Experience in programming languages like SQL, Python / Pyspark, Shell Scripting and Scala.
- Experience in Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps and Spark platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
