A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Engineer Wireless T3 Ops.
A bit about your role
As a Tier-3 engineer, the role acts as the highest level of operational escalation for complex and service-impacting incidents within Wireless environments. It is responsible for leading end-to-end incident and problem management, including rapid service restoration, deep technical analysis, and root cause resolution, while driving continuous improvement to reduce recurrence and improve MTTR.
The position also leads high-performing technical teams, drives innovation and collaboration, and conducts advanced technical analysis and trials to support business decisions. It contributes engineering expertise to network planning and lifecycle strategies, ensuring operational readiness, resilience, and security-by-design for all new and upgraded capabilities.
In addition, the role builds strong stakeholder and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and security domains, while actively supporting team engagement, workload prioritisation, and delivery of reliable, high-quality engineering outcomes.
A bit about you
You possess hands-on expertise with Ericsson 5G Core including cloud-native deployments, Kubernetes orchestration, and network automation tools such as Ansible and scripting. You have strong technical knowledge of Evolved Packet Core (EPC), 5G NR, virtualization/CNF architectures, and IP networking fundamentals (IGP/EGP, SR/TE, routing and switching).
You bring experience working in large-scale telecommunications environments, combining incident and problem management expertise with AI/ML-driven network operations and data-driven decision-making. A solid understanding of network security principles and frameworks, including Essential Eight (ACSC) and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), is essential to ensure secure and compliant engineering outcomes.
