As a Senior Engineer - Technical Support, you will drive initiatives within mechanical design and engineering, prototyping and qualification, as well as commercialization activities.
 

As a Senior Engineer - Technical Support, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing to developing new robotic equipment for use in oilwells. Responsibilities will include:
  -     Requirements definition
  -      Identification of the best conceptual solution to address the requirements
  -      3D modelling
  -      Drafting (2D drawings)
  -      Engineering calculations
  -      Experimental testing and qualification testing
• Participating in technical discussions with clients
• Building and testing of prototypes
• Improving existing products
• Connecting the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; working on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.

Fuel your passion
 

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a MSc or BSc degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Have proven experience in R&D / product development (design, engineering, prototyping, commercialization)
• Have sound oral and written communication skills.
• Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
• Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Have effective problem identification and solution skills with proven analytical and organizational ability.
