We’re currently looking for an Engineer/Analyst to join our R&D Strategic Planning team in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
This is a cross-functional position requiring coordination with all functions of R&D Americas (USA, Mexico, Brazil), NNA, NTC counterparts, and executive management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Development, coordination, and tracking of R&D Business plan
- Opportunities to lead strategic initiatives that help drive the business
- Authoring and coordination of R&D executive office materials
- Planning, organizing, and executing executive meetings and events
- Frequent interaction with local and global teams including local NTCNA function management, Vehicle Program Management, Finance, Human Resources, as well as other global Resource Management and Strategic Planning teams.
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years NTCNA experience with a broad understanding of the development process
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Work from the NTCNA-FH office 5 days a week
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
Desired:
- Ability to convince and motivate others not directly reporting to them
- Ability to collaborate amongst other team members and other functions to help develop strategic initiatives
- Good analytical skills & exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills cross functionally and cross culturally
- Ability to work overtime and outside core hours (typically from home), as required
- Ability to interface with all levels of management including Executives to instill confidence and credibility regarding strategy, plans, and events
- Use of discretion and professionalism in confidential matters
