 Job Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for F5/ Firewall/L2-L3 /Middleware/ Automation requirements of the internal / external users and align it with AppViewX’s solution offerings.

What do we require: 

• Designing & Deploying Network Security solutions for our customers across broad technologies of F5 LB, Firewalls, Routing & Switching, Cloud and Linux/Windows Servers.
• Assessing, planning and implementing changes in the Customer/Internal environment.
• Delivering transition and/or project work of good quality in a timely fashion.
• Proposing service improvements based on best industry practice, your own experience and troubleshooting outcomes.
• Automating Team’s Routine work, also within the Customer environment
• Documenting network layout with proper standards.
• Functionally validate the solutions developed on AppViewX and sign-off before the final delivery
• Should be flexible to work in any shift and over weekends as required by Business.
• Should be willing to travel as required by Business.

Technology Essentials:

• Good to have background from Network Operations, Engineering and designing network solutions for large enterprise-level orgs across Public Clouds, F5, Firewalls, Cloud, Routers and Switches.
• Extensive knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol Suites, DNS, HTTPS
• Good knowledge of PKI / SSL Certificates.
• Deep knowledge and experience with deploying, upgrading/downgrading network devices.
• Design level knowledge on at least two firewall vendors/products (Fortinet/Palo Alto/ Checkpoint).
• Good knowledge of LINUX/Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Good knowledge across traditional L2/L3, SDWAN.
• Working Knowledge in Shell/Python scripting will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of the API / SDK / iControl interfaces to Firewalls.
• Relevant Network certifications are good to have.
• Working knowledge of Network utilities like tcpdump, nmap, snmpwalk, netstat, ncat essential
