Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SENIOR ENGINEER, REMOTE SUPPORT, to join our dynamic team. You will provide technical support in Spanish to our end-users, distributors, field service engineers, and integrators. Your primary responsibilities will include resolving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will report to the Team Leader, Remote Support in Latin America (Advanced Software).
Location: Bogotá, Colombia (Hybrid Schedule).
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support to customers by phone, email, and chat in Spanish.
- Resolve technical issues related to Rockwell Automation products.
- Collaborate with the Global Remote Support team, customers, and coworkers in multiple settings and complex issues.
- Document and record all interactions and solutions in the ticket management system.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the use of applications.
- Continuous learning in Rockwell Automation products and technologies.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5 years' engineering and/or field/remote support experience.
- Deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation Products, specially, Visualization and Information software as FactoryTalk View SE, PlantPAx, FactoryTalk Historian SE and FactoryTalk AssetCentre.
- Advanced english level.
- Availability to work rotating shifts according to the operation.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Basic Knowledge in products like: ThinManager, ThingWorx, FactoryTalk Transaction Manager, FactoryTalk Metrics, FactoryTalk Batch or FactoryTalk Optix.
- Knowledge in Other Rockwell Automation product families, for example: Studio 5000, Logix Controllers, FactoryTalk View ME, Industrial Networks (ControlNet, Ethernet, DeviceNet, Modbus or DH+), PowerFlex Drives or Kinetix.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience in Windows troubleshooting or designing for supporting and assisting virtual environments.
- Experience in the industrial automation field.
