The Role:
Entegris is seeking a Quality Engineering Engineer to implement quality assurance program to ensure quality production of products consistent with established standards. This position is located at the Entegris Taiwan Kaohsiung.
As a Quality Engineer (QE), you will play a key role in driving product and process quality, supporting customer engagements, and ensuring effective quality governance across manufacturing and business operations. This position requires strong technical capability, structured problemsolving skills, and the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally across customers, CTE, sales, engineering, operations, and global teams. As a QE, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality, driving continuous improvement, and strengthening customer satisfaction. You will work closely with production teams to deliver highquality products while supporting business unit or profit center KPIs.
In this role you will:
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical responses to customers through product understanding, data analysis, problemsolving methodologies (e.g., 8D), and rootcause investigation.
Engage with customers and internal teams on issue resolution, change management, document review, VOC collection for NPI projects, audits, and other crossfunctional initiatives aligned with business goals.
Support daytoday quality management by addressing quality issues, driving rootcause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and verifying their effectiveness on critical product and process parameters.
Monitor and drive quality performance—including DPPM and CCPK—to meet yearly quality objectives and achieve continuous improvement.
Manage nonconforming products, coordinate containment and prevent escapes, and work with production/engineering teams to ensure proper disposition.
Apply statistical techniques in data analysis, support SPC development (chart selection, limit calculation, rules), and contribute to improvements in monitoring and control systems.
Conduct process control reviews and periodic audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in qualification activities for new or modified materials, designs, processes, tooling, and ensure qualification data meets internal and customer requirements.
Prepare and maintain documentation for business processes, tracking systems, performance reporting, and continuous improvement project management.
Collaborate with global QE teams and crossfunctional partners across products, regions, and organizations to enhance product quality and drive operational excellence.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Bachelor or above of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electric/Electronic Engineering; or related technical field preferred.
Experience in an engineering role in the areas of quality, process, equipment or materials within the semiconductor industry.
Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers with experience in escalation management and project management focused on closing gaps between company and customer.
Experience with applicable quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, process mapping, design of experiments, 8D problem solving methodology and statistic analysis concept.
Demonstrate a passion for success and a desire to achieve high level performance. Results oriented and work well across the teams.
Ability to propose improvements pr solutions to business / quality processes having positive impact to our customers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin.
