Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance

Role purpose

As a Senior Engineer - Implementation Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring the quality and success of implementation projects. This role involves designing and executing QA processes, collaborating with project teams, and addressing quality issues during project implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA strategies and processes for implementation projects, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases specific to implementation activities, including system configurations, integrations, and migrations.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and address quality issues during project implementation.

• Monitor and report on QA metrics, including defect rates and test coverage, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Ensure that implementation processes are followed and that any deviations are addressed promptly.

• Stay current with QA best practices and emerging technologies, incorporating advancements into QA processes as appropriate.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior QA engineers, contributing to their growth and development.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data and market research.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Good self-management skills, including ability to escalate issues in a timely manner and work to deadlines.
