The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for qualifying ADI released products that underwent fab site transfer, or any material or process changes. He/she should ensure that the product still functions within the advertised specifications in the datasheet across its operating temperature range after the material and BOM changes. He/she will also be responsible in supporting reliability testing to ensure that the products being qualified will not fail prematurely when deployed in their field applications. His/her responsibilities also extends to data analysis, report generation, ATE program debugging and bench testing. He/she will be working closely with different teams within ADI, Manufacturing groups, Business Units, offshore counterparts, as well as Subcons/OSATs to ensure smooth and timely execution and completion of projects and other deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using Automatic Test Equipment and debugging of ATE test programs and test board schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of ATE programming languages such as C++, C#, Visual Basic and Python.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools like Exensio/EMA, Galaxy, JMP or other similar tools used for crunching semiconductor data (STDF).
  • Hands-on experience with lab and bench equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and signal generators.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree a plus) in Electronics Engineering or relevant technical disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years in test/product engineering or a related role.
