What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll architect and build scalable platform security capabilities that make complex security challenges approachable, usable, and elegant. You’ll work side-by-side with top engineers, architects, and senior stakeholders to craft secure, developer-friendly tools and infrastructure.
This is not a narrow coding role — you’ll have the autonomy to shape solutions, the freedom to be creative, and the opportunity to impact multiple ResMed products across diverse business areas. Your insights will drive the strategic roadmap of the team, giving you a voice in shaping future direction and engineering culture.

Responsibilities
Design and build secure backend solutions and infrastructure
Deliver intuitive, self-service security tools for developers
Take full ownership of your work — from design to deployment and continuous improvement
Collaborate across functions and levels, presenting technical solutions to peers and executives
Elevate security awareness and developer experience across the business
Write clean, maintainable code with strong observability and automated testing
Key Skills/Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, ideally with a security focus
5+ years developing secure software in modern cloud and containerized environments
Proficiency in at least one core language (TypeScript, Go, Java or Python)
Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, and infrastructure-as-code
Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, service meshes, and API security
Ability to simplify complexity, mentor others, and share knowledge across teams
Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Passion for autonomy, creativity, and continuous learning
