About this opportunity
We are hiring a Senior NMS/OSS Engineer to manage and support network management systems, primarily Ericsson ENM/ENIQ, along with the associated infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure optimal availability, performance, and reliability. This role may require on-call or shift participation.
You will bring
• Proven hands-on experience with Ericsson ENM/ENIQ v23+ (rack-mounted/blade). • Strong troubleshooting, scripting (Unix/Shell/Python), and database skills (Sybase IQ, Vertica, PostgreSQL). • Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration. • Knowledge of OSS northbound interfaces, LDAP, BIND, PKI, IDAM, TBAC/RBAC. • Hardware (HP rack/blade), virtualization (VMware, vSphere), basic network and storage troubleshooting. • Good communication, coordination, and documentation abilities.
What you will do
• Deploy, configure and maintain Ericsson ENM/ENIQ (rack-mounted and blade deployments). • Administer and troubleshoot the NMS/OSS stack, including northbound interfaces to other OSS/element management tools. • Manage and maintain server, virtualization and storage infrastructure that supports NMS/OSS systems. • Perform OS and database administration tasks, run SQL queries and manage DBMS-related issues. • Implement patches, upgrades and package deployments for ENM/ENIQ and related components. • Create and maintain monitoring, backup, and recovery procedures; perform regular health checks and capacity planning. • Develop and maintain automation scripts, operational runbooks and system documentation. • Troubleshoot network, signaling and integration issues; liaise with vendors (Ericsson, Anritsu, Adva, etc.) as required. • Support reporting and analytics flows (SAP BO, Tableau) where applicable. • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Qualification
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent practical experience. • Proven experience in NMS/OSS administration, network integration and troubleshooting in carrier or large enterprise environments.
