Position Overview
The Engineer, M&A Integration Services is a key technical contributor, responsible for the hands-on execution of M&A integration projects. This role drives the technical implementation of integration plans, including system mapping, data preparation, infrastructure standardization, automation scripting, and migrations, to ensure each acquired environment transitions efficiently and securely to the standardized portfolio stack. The Integration Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and directly engages stakeholders to identify and resolve technical challenges, maintaining high standards of system integrity, data accuracy, and project delivery throughout the integration lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed mapping and analysis of acquired company IT environments against the organization’s standardized IT stack, identifying technical gaps, risks, and requirements.
Prepare and execute data migration strategies, ensuring all data is validated, transferred, and integrated accurately and securely.
Implement device standardization plans, including hardware replacement and configuration, to align with portfolio specifications; coordinate with the global network engineering team for network-related changes.
Develop, test, and deploy automation scripts to streamline migration, configuration, and ongoing management tasks.
Lead the technical execution of system and application migrations, coordinating any infrastructure changes required for seamless integration.
Coordinate with integration team members, deployment engineering, implementation engineering, project management, client POC, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of integration activities, resolve technical challenges, and deliver effective solutions.
Act as an escalation point during user onboarding, cutover, and stabilization phases—including hands-on assistance for complex or unresolved issues.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical decisions, processes, configurations, and migration activities for audit and knowledge transfer purposes.
Escalate complex technical challenges or roadblocks to the appropriate stakeholders, while driving issues to timely resolution.
Support training efforts and knowledge transfer to end users, IT support staff, or operations teams as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
6-8+ years of Administrative and/or Project experience with Windows Server and related technologies
6-8+ years of workstation, network, and/or public cloud support experience
Experience with monitoring and remote management tools
Experience working with highly complex technical projects involving multiple workstreams
Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Experience using ServiceNow (or other project management software)
Experience in ITIL methodology and change management processes
Willingness to improve team process and contribute to team and company initiatives
