Job Summary :
As a Senior Engineer, Layout Lead, you will contribute to the establishment of best practices in layout team knowledge, skill, analytics, workflows and business processes. Integral to your role, you will serve as authority in team deliverables and coach new hires in ramping up capability to contribute quickly to team deliverables
Main Responsibilities :
- Deploy past experience in layout planning & optimization and tool movement execution excellence in contextually relevant manner
- Establish foundational and benchmark knowledge and skill base for defining team deliverable standard
- Set up workflow and business processes for team to effectively and efficiently meet deliverables
- Contribute to advancement in capability of global layout team network
- Develop training material and plan for new hires
Other Responsibilities :
- Advocate for balanced and collaborative approach in complex cross-functional team efforts
- Deploy appropriate AI-driven solutions in achieving effective and efficient outcomes for self and teams
Job Requirements/Qualification/ Selection Criteria :
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in layout planning & optimization and tool movement execution in semiconductor industry
- Bachelors degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Civil or related discipline
- Advance Proficiency in AutoCad
- Proficiency in M365 Apps (such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint etc) and collaboration tools (Confluence, Microsoft Loop, Microsoft Sharepoint, etc)
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze constraints, evaluate trade offs, and support data driven decision making in layout planning.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to drive actions and alignment with cross functional stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to multi-task and organize work systematically in meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Physically able to work inside a cleanroom environment, including wearing full cleanroom attire (smock, hood, gloves, boots) and performing on site checks such as layout validations and equipment area walkthroughs.
- Demonstrated at least 1 year of leadership experience as project lead or team lead
- Hands-on experience in training multiple new hires
- Hands-on experience in AI (Chatbot, Agentic AI, Automation, etc) tools in augmenting work delivery in tactical or project settings
