Description:

Support and Maintenance of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Applications.

Daily support and management of Oracle E-business Suite Application support activities.
Monitoring and Trouble-shooting issues related to E-Business Suite Application Servers and services.
Troubleshooting issues related Apache, oacore, oafm, oc4j, Forms services and apps login through SSO.
Monitoring the Work Flow mailer and notification queues and fix if any issues/delay in processing the WF notifications.
Handling Configuration changes of E-Business R12 environment- Autoconfig, template customization and Localizations.
Administration and management of Oracle E-Business suite using AD utilities that includes adadmin activities for Application objects compilation and re-linking.
Monitoring the Concurrent Managers status and managing the operations like starting, stopping the concurrent managers, re-schedule the requests and purging the concurrent requests historical data.
Managing Concurrent queues and Parallel Concurrent Processing.
Administration and Management of EBS External applications like iSupplier Module on DMZ.
Monitoring, Diagnostics and Troubleshooting application using OAM (Oracle Applications Manager).
Pro-actively work with Prod Support Team, Project Teams to provide planning and ongoing support for Application Life cycle management.
Analyzing the Log Files, Thread Dumps and JVM Dumps.
Incident Management & Technical Assistance including Production and Performance diagnostics, technology assessments and troubleshooting day-to-day issues.
Liaise with Performance Testing Team to identify any performance related issues during UAT phase.
Java upgrades on EBS Application Servers and involve in Browser testing for Java desktop updates.
Weekend Bounce, Maintenance and on-call Support for Production changes.
Sanity testing of EBS Technology Stack components on regular basis.
Perform Annual DR Tests.
Month End Processing Hyper Care Support- tracking and reporting in doubt sessions, monitoring processing queues for long running requests, memory and space utilization.
Creating Severity TARs/SR and conduct OWC sessions with Oracle support to resolve issues.
EBS  R12 Cloning / Refreshes 

Cloning Oracle E-Business Suite Application from Prod to Non-Prod Environments using Rapid and manual clone process.
Multi Node to Multi Node, Multi Node to Single node and adding additional Application nodes if required.
Weekly/Adhoc Copy Prod and Break Fix environment refreshes from Production.
Post clone / refresh setups- SSO configuration & steps related to EBS integrated Applications.
Applying Oracle E-Business Suite Application patches

Applying Oracle E-Business Suite Application patches using adpatch, adop and OPatch options.
Performing Oracle Application Pre-patch analysis (Patch Wizard), Pre-config Analysis for Quarterly PSU, Security vulnerabilities and other required patches.
Applying patches on Oracle EBS Tech Stack and Oracle Application Server binaries (for Application Tier Forms and Reports).
Applying Bug Fixes, Data fixes and other Oracle recommended patches (One-off, Mini Pack, and Family Pack).
Applying Language and Localization specific patches as per business requirement.
Application Code Migrations 

EBS Application Code Migrations from Development to QA, UAT and Production Instances.
Coordinate and work with Release/Change Management teams for deployments, Outages and code migrations across Prod and Non-Prod Environments.
Release Non-Disruptive, Disruptive Migrations across Non-Prod and Prod Environments.
Form Compilations, deployment of customized reports and JSP Compilations.
Performance Tuning

Application tuning like OPP JVM memory usage. Troubleshoot java out of memory errors.
Tuning of concurrent managers - Managing Concurrent queues and adjust process count based on load.
Tuning Output Post Processor (OPP) to Improve Performance.
Analyzing Oracle Apps Dictionary Tables for High Performance
Gather Schema Statistics Using FND_STATS in EBS.
WF performance tuning.
Security and Compliance

Track Security Certificate expirations and request new certificates for EBS Applications.
Installing and maintaining Supplier Certs to access Supplier Sites.
Product Jar signing for Oracle E-Business Suite.
Work on Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates and user authentication.
Track and remediate Security Vulnerabilities , apply Critical Security Patch updates for EBS Applications
Quarterly Password Changes for EBS Administrative Accounts and adhere to SOX policies.
Generation of SOX Audit reports having all details of changes implemented on Prod Environments and sharing with Application Owners for required approvals.
Work with D&T external Audit team and provide required EBS Application changes evidence for Audit related Queries.
Integration Support

Support Oracle WebLogic for any integrations with Oracle E-Business Suite
Support OAM /OID integration with EBS for SSO.
Support OAAM for External EBS iSupplier Multifactor Authentication.
Support Oracle Webcenter Integration - MMC EBS AP Imaging Solution.
Support Kofax Markview integration for CONS EBS AP Imaging Solution.
Support OIM integration for Quarterly certification and Identity Governance.
Support Unitask Output Redirector for Printing Solution.
Support SMTP/IMAP for Email/File transfer - GlobalScape.
Support Vertex for Tax calculation and integration with EBS.
Support Synchro for Tax calculation (Brazil).
Support PGP Encryption for Workday File transfer and Bank interfaces.
MISC Support

Liaise with MGTI UNIX Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Updates and Administration tasks on Solaris and Linux Servers.
Liaise with MGTI Windows Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Update and Administration tasks on Windows Servers.
Liaise with MGTI Storage Team on Space requests, File system Backups and Year-End Special Backups.
Liaise with MGTI Network Team on Firewall Port Opening Requests, Load Balancers, And Virtual Ips.
Liaise with MGTI DCops for Monitoring and alert suppression.
Coordinate and work with multiple MGTI Teams for Annual DR Tests.
