What you will do:
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing for iOS mobile applications and web applications, design, develop, and execute manual and automation scripts using frameworks like Appium, Swift or other iOS automation frameworks with minimum supervision.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand requirements and deliver quality, Utilize the requirements management systems (JAMA).
- Document, track, and ensure timely closure of defects.
- Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to Agile during test execution.
- Support test reporting and status updates for stakeholders.
- Perform software verification executions, debug, and resolution of issues.
- Produce complete, concise, clear and technically correct work outputs.
- Report passed and failed requirements to the test team lead or program management.
- Support test reviews of various deliverables and be able to handle end to end feature testing and overall system testing.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science
- 2-6 years of product testing in a product development environment or equivalent environment.
- Knowhow of different types of applications in mobile space, windows and web applications.
- Strong hands on experience in writing both manual and automation scripts for iOS based mobile applications and web applications(Expert in Appium, Swift)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired):
- Experience with integrated development environments (IDE) for projects for writing mobile automation scripts, Strong proficiency in writing automation scripts using Apple frameworks & tools (Swift/SwiftUI, Appium).
- Hands-on experience in mobile app test execution, debugging, and defect management.
- Software Development Life Cycle processes, know-how of Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability tools
- ISTQB and standard Agile certifications like CSM, SaFe Agile, mobile testing related certifications.
