Senior Engineer - Integration
Hybrid (up to 3 days per week working from home)

£57,000 - £71,000 per annum, depending on experience
10% management bonus scheme
Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

How you’ll help us make health happen:

You will be the technical authority in your domain - this could be application or technology specific
-
Devising and Implementing strategies to Migrate On-premise solutions to Cloud.

Give application or technology specific guidance to business analysts, architects and designers to achieve the best overall solutions
-
Impact assess and validate technical solutions, designs, proof of concept to ensure end to end solutions are fit for purpose thus ensuring deliverables match the quality standards and expectations.

Hands-on participation during all the phases of software application development lifecycle, with emphasis on requirements gathering and definition, analysis, scoping, project estimation, project execution and technical coordination across multiple teams.

Acts as a technical mentor to less experienced software engineers.

Stakeholder management by way of Interfacing with multiple project stakeholders and decision makers across the organisations.

Assisting configuration and production support teams with Release Management of the application deployment and warranty go-live support.

Implementing commonly established best practices and standards for IT Service Management, Information Security and IT Governance throughout project execution.

Understand business objectives and continually seek ways to improve business operations, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

Experience working in more than one of the following service delivery functions; development, support, software design or environment configuration.

Must have knowledge and experience of following technologies:

o Logic Apps
o Web APIs, ASP.NET MVC
o Visual Studio, .NET, C#
o SQL Server
o Azure Development and Deployment
o Azure Cloud Services
o Azure Functions
o Integration Accounts

Should have one or more following desired skills
o Apigee
o Web APIs
o WCF
o Migrating Solutions to Cloud
• Ability to translate business goals into technology solutions
• Strong communication skills, good team player
• Experience of working in a matrix managed environment, with mixed teams including contractors and outsourced vendors
• Logical approach to software solutions and problem solving
• Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues, and escalate appropriately
• Ability to influence technical project outcomes
• Able to adapt to different situations requiring interpretive and constructive thinking and a considerable degree of evaluative judgement.
• Takes the lead in resolving technical issues within their domain, regardless of organisational boundaries
