Job Description:

 As a Senior engineer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Design and development of core firmware components for the controllers from Microchip
  • Work closely with Application team to support and resolve customer issues
  • Participate in detailed design and code reviews of implementations by team
  • Design and development of automated unit test scripts
  • Work in collaboration with other Microchip sites to design solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex firmware problems in embedded real-time systems
  • Write comprehensive engineering documentation

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have good experience of Embedded C programming language 
  • The candidate must have good knowledge of RTOS concepts and very good understanding of microcontrollers
  • 5+ years of experience in C programming
  • Experience in storage protocol and PCIe protocol
  • Knowledge of NAND and SSD technology
  • Knowledge of Protocol analyzers, exercisers, and Logic analyzers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of programming scripting languages like Groovy/Python/Perl is a plus
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong interpersonal skills
