Job Description:

This position is for an experienced engineer for our failure analysis (FA) team focusing on developing capabilities in both software and hardware tools to enable our team to grow in areas CAD navigation, scan testing diagnostics and new product development (NPD). This will involve collaboration between FA and internal business units and global lab network to drive efficiencies and improvements in FA cycle time.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • M.S. or B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of experience in Failure Analysis or related field.

  • Familiarity with failure analysis techniques and tools.

  • Proficiency in Unix operating systems and scripting.

  • Familiarity in Scripting with Perl, C++ , Python or Excel VBA etc

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Desired:

  • Proven experience in semiconductor failure analysis, product engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with industry-standard EDA tools such as Avalon and Cadence Virtuoso is highly beneficial.

  • Familiarity with Design For Test (DFT), pattern-based / scan testing, ATPG tools.

  • Experience with Printed Circuit Board design tools like Altium or PADS or OrCAD or DIPTRACE etc..
