Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
You will work independently to plan, lead and coordinate technical projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements You will also lead activities designed to generate appropriate process information using modelling and simulation, and pilot plant scale up and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will be involved with/lead process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning, and will ensure the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results; create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications; leverage connections to internal and external technical communities, and; create intellectual property that gives Mondelēz International a competitive advantage. .

- Understanding equipment design and manufacturing processes to support process specifications
- Coaching and mentoring others in a process community

What you need to know about this position:
- NA Ventures RDQ Sr. Engineer I. will lead process development for Tate's Bake Shop for projects like alternate line qualifications, capacity expansion, innovation, and plant-focused projects.
- Plan and conduct process development activities including process design and specifications, heat and mass balance, process scale-up, commissioning, technical risk assessments, and create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications.
- Writing technical reports, making recommendations, and influencing decisions based on analysis and interpretation of data.
- Working in teams and independently with appropriate guidance.
- Prioritizing and managing activities.

Education / Certifications: Bachelors in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent field
Job specific requirements: Minimum 3-5 years in process engineering
Travel requirements: Up to 20-30% travel
Work schedule: This position is based in East Hanover, NJ, with a hybrid work model offering a mix of onsite and remote flexibility
Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $86,900 to $119,515; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
