Job Description:
The USB and Networking Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to work on pre-silicon verification of High-Speed Transceiver (HST) Products and sub-systems.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Work with Architects and designers to review architectural and micro-architectural specifications and develop comprehensive verification plans.
-
Actively participate in SOC test bench architecture, development.
-
Active involvement in development of test sequences, test cases.
-
Perform RTL and back-annotated simulations and debug.
-
Define and develop effective functional SV assertions and cover points.
-
Implement solutions to automate the verification flow.
-
Support validation of silicon.
-
Interface with cross-functional teams to understand the use-cases and develop test scenarios around them.
Requirements/Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
-
Extensive knowledge of Verification flows and techniques at the RTL and gate level simulation using SV/UVM flows.
-
Hands on experience in creating/debugging complex test bench environments using Verilog/System Verilog/UVM.
-
ASIC/SoC Verification experience.
-
Good understanding of SV assertions and coverage.
-
Good understanding of digital design fundamentals.

Proficiency with UNIX-based scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL, AWK, CSH).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and documentation skills.

Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
-
Self-motivated, able to drive the verification activities.
Job Requirements (Desired Skills):

Knowledge of Ethernet protocols and interfaces.

Extensive experience in working with SV-UVM based verification environments and driving the verification activities of a sub-system.
