Job Description

We are seeking and experienced hardware engineer to join our team to develop next generation distributed IO products.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will use your electronics design experience to design, develop and test next generation distributed IO products. You will work closely with other engineers and cross functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.

You will report to Engineering manager and follow a Hybrid working schedule in Singapore

Your responsibilities

  • Design and develop hardware system and component, including component selection, design tolerance analysis, schematics design and PCB layout.
  • Perform circuit analysis and simulations to ensure product design is meeting the functionality and performance requirement.
  • Prepare hardware qualification test plans, and execute tests for hardware qualification, product certification and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and execute hardware fault insertion test.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Stay up to date with emerging hardware technologies and industry trends.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product hardware design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits, PCB design and layout.
  • Strong experience in EMI noise reduction techniques/countermeasures for PCB layout.
  • Experience with creating UL/ATEX compliant design (isolation / spacing), preventing and eliminating EMC/EMI issues.
  • Good experience in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity and Timing Analysis for Digital Circuit.
  • Experience in simulating analog circuit performance and reliability (e.g., using software such as MathCad, LTspice/Saber or similar).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Programming skills in Python, LabVIEW or other test automation tools/software is a plus.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation Software programming tools and programming skills in Ladder Logic is a plus
  • Experience with functional safety product design with IEC61508, safety data calculation, and certification is a strong plus.
