DISH is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to enhance 5G wireless operations. This role will focus on creating scalable and efficient AI-driven systems for network optimization, predictive analytics, and real-time decision-making. - Lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to roadmaps, aligning solutions with project goals.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, GenAI, or a combination of software development and AI-driven solutions, with extensive expertise in integrating AI/ML into enterprise-scale applications
- Strong track record of delivering scalable AI/ML systems, including experience in telecom or 5G wireless operations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, with hands-on experience in fine-tuning large language models.
- Strong understanding of 5G wireless network systems and telecom-specific AI/ML applications.
- Experience designing production-grade AI pipelines for real-time decision-making and predictive analytics.
- Proficient in cloud-based AI solutions using AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, EKS, and S3.
- Skilled in Python programming, data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark), and API development for system integration.
- Knowledgeable in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Argo CD), version control (Git), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Agile development.
