Summary
As a Senior Engineer in Failure Analysis, you will analyze wafer and package samples using a range of advanced material characterization tools.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed failure analysis using Auger, XPS, SIMS, 4PB, nano-indentation, XRD, and other analytical tools.
Interpret and analyze data and prepare reports upon job completion.
Document failure analysis findings and root causes.
Maintain FA operating procedures, training materials, and certification specifications.
Provide FA guidance and support to Fab Operations and TD for process characterization, monitoring, yield improvement, line issues, and customer-returned failure analysis.
Develop new failure analysis techniques to support emerging technologies.
Ensure FA equipment upkeep, lab safety, and housekeeping standards are maintained.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with SIMS, Auger, XPS, and other failure analysis techniques.
Ability to collaborate effectively with others and a strong interest in IC failure analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
