As a Electrical and Electronics Strategic Sourcing Engineer this role will bring broad operations expertise to develop and lead full range of sourcing related initiatives at the company.
- Develop should cost models for all existing and new developments.
- Critically evaluate vendors for short term and long-term strategy of UV.
- Maintain and develop supplier relationships and conduct regular SPMs & QBRs.
- Mentor fresh talent and groom them to take challenging responsibilities.
- Lead NPIs and ensure program timelines are met.
- Proactively scope for the latest technological solutions in the electronics, electrical and software space to give UV a competitive edge in the market.
- Special focus on quick prototype development for engineering validation.
- Open to travel to vendors – Domestic & International
Requirements
- Electronics or Electrical engineer preferred in case of a fresher.
- Relevant experience of handling EMS vendors for 1-3 years of experience.
Skills Required
- Relevant experience handling EMS vendors for 1–3 years
- Electronics or Electrical Engineering degree, particularly for freshers
