Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer (Dry Utilities) to join our construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects.

  • Lead and supervise the installation of dry utility systems, including electricity, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate dry utility work with overall construction schedules
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
  • Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges related to dry utilities
  • Develop and implement quality control measures for dry utility installations
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress, issues, and recommendations
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in dry utility design and construction supervision
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in dry utility engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in dry utilities  construction supervision
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
  • Extensive knowledge of dry utility systems, including electricity, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working in the United Arab Emirates or similar regions preferred
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
