The
Manufacturing Excellence Engineer drives continuous improvement initiatives
across group manufacturing to enhance productivity, quality, cost efficiency,
safety, and delivery performance. The role focuses on Lean manufacturing, Automation,
process optimization and operational excellence.
· Identify
process inefficiencies and implement cost, quality, and productivity
improvements
· Identify
and implement low cost Automation in
manufacturing
· Facilitate Kaizen identification and implementation support
· Preparing value
stream mapping and identify potential areas for improvement including material
feeding and handling.
· Develop
and standardize best manufacturing practices across lines/plants
· Monitor
and improve KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, scrap, rework, and downtime
· Collaborate
with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply chain teams to debottleneck
the processes.
· Support digital
manufacturing / Industry 4.0 initiatives
Requirements
· Bachelor’s
degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing / Production Engineering
· 5–8 years of
experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, CI, or operational excellence roles
· Strong
knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke
· Hands-on
experience in process improvement and data-driven problem solving
· Experience
in discrete manufacturing / automotive
· Knowledge on
manufacturing processes and working experience in Jigs, Fixtures and SPM building is preferred.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering
- 5–8 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, SMED, and Poka-Yoke
- Hands-on experience in process improvement and data-driven problem solving
- Experience in discrete manufacturing or automotive manufacturing
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience with jigs, fixtures, and SPM building
- Exposure to material handling techniques
