Our Finance Engineering team is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join us in building and scaling the technology that mainly powers our invoicing, finance and company systems. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Product, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
What you will do as a Senior Software Engineer- Design, implement, and maintain backend features related to finance and invoicing systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps and follow best practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and “You build it, you run it” principles.
- Review code contributions from other engineers and provide constructive feedback.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues and support root cause analysis efforts.
- 6+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and Java-based microservices and event based architecture.
- Solid understanding of designing scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and modern DevOps tools and practices.
