- Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit.
- Work with automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, POM, or custom frameworks).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Perform automation execution, analyze results, and provide timely reports.
- Design comprehensive and detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute test cases across various testing stages (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity).
- Identify, track, and validate defects using standard defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure requirements clarity and test coverage.
- Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Understand and utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Ensure test automation is seamlessly integrated as part of continuous integration and continuous deployment cycles.
- Contribute to quality metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit, and automation frameworks and good with fundamentals of Manual Testing (test design, execution, and defect lifecycle).
- Good understanding of OOPs concepts, debugging, and scripting best practices.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with API testing using Postman / RestAssured.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Experience working in a microservices-based architecture.
