As a Senior Employee Relations Representative, you will conduct internal investigations of employee relations issues and makes recommendations to Bank management to resolve issues. Coach management on sensitive employee issues/situations.
The level of work performed is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This position does not have direct reports.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Counsels and advises employees and management on work-related issues such as policies, attendance, performance, conduct, complaints, employment law, etc.
  • Serves as a primary resource for employee complaints.
  • Conducts investigations related to complaints of discrimination, intimidation and harassment.
  • Creates documentation that may be relied upon for litigation purposes.
  • Reviews and is authorized to approve counseling and termination of employment cases.
  • Develops and communicates HR policies and guidelines.
  • Conducts interviews with employees.
  • Collaborates within department by providing guidance on employment law and policy issues.
  • Develops and conducts Employee Relations training as needed.
  • Oversees the Harassment Prevention awareness program.
  • Supports medium to large size projects on behalf of the department or participates in larger Department and/or District strategic projects.


Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of related professional work experience
  • Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in employment law to complete difficult assignments.
  • Demonstrates independent decision-making abilities.
  • Able to understand and respond appropriately to ambiguous situations.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in office.
