- Develop and integrate embedded software for battery management systems, energy storage controllers, and related electronic modules
- Design and implement software based on AUTOSAR Classic architecture (Adaptive a plus where applicable)
- Author, decompose, and manage software requirements aligned to system, safety, and customer specifications
- Maintain end‑to‑end requirements traceability (system → software → code → test)
- Collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Hardware, Functional Safety, Validation, and Manufacturing
- Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW, MCAL, and SW‑Cs using industry tools
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and Clarios’ internal product development standards
- Support customer technical reviews, software audits, and OEM change requests
- Perform code reviews, design reviews, and requirements quality checks
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex system‑level issues
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of Clarios software practices
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in automotive electronics
- Strong hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR Classic
- Proven experience in software requirements management, including:
- Requirements authoring and decomposition
- Change and impact analysis
- Traceability using tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or CodeBeamer
- Proficiency in C (C++ a plus) for embedded systems
- Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and low‑level drivers
- Strong understanding of V‑model development and safety‑critical software
- Experience working in a global, matrixed engineering organization
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS), power electronics, or energy storage products
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR configuration tools (e.g., DaVinci Configurator, EB tresos)
- Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS, Ethernet)
- Exposure to functional safety assessments, safety requirements, and safety mechanisms
- Experience supporting OEM customer engagements and technical reviews
