Senior Embedded Software Engineer

WorkNomads is on the hunt for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team!

Your mission at WorkNomads: 

• Design, develop, and test embedded software components for client products, primarily targeting the automotive market but also extending beyond it.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 26262 and ASPICE, while following the client's embedded software development processes and Agile methods.
• Work with modern tools such as Git, GitLab, Docker, MLX16 compiler, debugger, and simulator.
• Contribute to decision-making processes related to DevOps and embedded software development workflows.

We want to hear from you if you have: 

• University degree in engineering, electronics, mathematics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of electronics.
• Excellent knowledge of C, familiarity with assembly language, and experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Proficiency in GNU Compiler tools and experience with Linux as a development platform.
• Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS and hardware-software interfacing.
• Familiarity with IDEs (Visual Studio Code, Eclipse) and in-circuit debugging tools.
• Understanding of digital and analog hardware, including reading and interpreting schematics is a plus.
• Ability to write structured, well-documented code with strong debugging and validation skills.
• Knowledge of version control, configuration management, and continuous integration tools.
