Responsibilities
- Write, debug and deliver production grade software building the next generation of Audinate AV products.
- You'll be involved in all stages of the SDLC, whilst working in a development environment that is Agile, CI/CD, TDD
- Guide and mentor junior engineers
- Work closely with engineering leaders to develop software architecture
- Provide customer technical support
- Contribute to cross-project discussions and the future direction of our Dante products
What we're looking for
- Bachelor degree in Computer Software, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Strong experience of C and C++ development
- Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux internals and Linux tools
- Knowledge of networking software stacks
- Experience with tools like JIRA, GIT, Jenkins
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated Initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team, mentoring, pairing and collaborating with others
- Comfortable working in an international and Agile environment
Additional desired skills and experience
- Experience with video software stack
- Understanding of Android’s audio architecture: HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), AudioFlinger, AudioPolicyManager.
- Familiarity with the Android Camera HAL and video pipeline
- Understanding of AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and how audio and video services are structured
