Job Summary
VSolvit is seeking an experienced Senior Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Analyst to support critical Electronic Warfare (EW) missions at Naval Air Station (NAS) Point Mugu, located at Naval Base Ventura County along the Southern California coast between Malibu and Santa Barbara. This role supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Spectrum Management Data contract.
The Senior ELINT Analyst must have knowledge of Electronic Support Measures (ESM) systems, their processes, tactics and mission data application and analysis. The chosen candidate will analyze ELINT data utilized to develop mission data libraries, tune sensors or create lab simulations and post flight analysis. Experience in both active and passive RF systems is required.

Responsibilities
- The Senior ELINT Analyst conducts analysis of electronic intelligence data to identify, characterize, and assess radar and other non-communications electromagnetic emitters
- The analyst evaluates signal parameters, emitter behavior, operational patterns, and technical characteristics to develop accurate intelligence assessments and maintain threat and emitter databases
- The analyst also prepares technical reports and briefings, performs quality assurance on analytical products, and provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts
- This role integrates ELINT data with other intelligence sources to identify emerging threats, support mission planning, and provide actionable intelligence to operational and senior decision-makers
- This role also has Fleet Liaison responsibilities, where the employee is expected to engage with Squadron and Schoolhouse representatives, working with them to translate identified needs to requirements for the Support Labs onboard NAWCWD
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess active Secret Clearance and hold it as a condition of employment
- 10+ years of Electronic Warfare system development and support experience
- 6+ years’ experience working in EW based Commands or Support Laboratories with a variety of EW technologies
- Microsoft Office experience includes Access, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in developing technical reports, executive briefings, and contractual deliverables
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance
- BSEE, BS in Engineering, or BS in Physics
- Experience working with Navy EW systems
- One or more tour Experience as EWO/EMCO, NFO CICO or TACCO, or E-6+ Enlisted EWO or IWC based IWTAO/IWO/CRC
- Knowledge of AN/ALQ-210, an advanced ESM and threat warning system, installed on the U.S. Navy and international MH-60R Sea Hawk multi-mission helicopters
- Knowledge of AN/ALQ-217, an advanced ESM passive sensor system, installed on U.S. Navy E-2C/D Advanced Hawkeye carrier-based aircraft.
- Strong and broad radar and antenna knowledge
- Knowledge of EW mission areas, including Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), and Electronic Support (ES) systems such as Radar Warning Receivers (RWR), Electronic Support Measures (ESM), and SIGINT/ELINT
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, EW functional requirements, and associated test strategies, including laboratory and flight test systems, test use cases, and demonstration methodologies
- Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
- Must have superior communication skills—both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools
