All about the role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electronic Firmware Engineer to lead the development of embedded firmware for advanced electronic products and systems. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in firmware design and implementation.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements.
- Review and approve firmware designs and code developed by team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex firmware and hardware integration issues.
- Ensure best practices in coding standards, documentation, and testing.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical direction and support.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development (e.g., ARM, PIC, STM32, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Experience with hardware schematics, debugging tools, and lab equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.).
- Proven track record of leading firmware projects or teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with wireless protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.).
- Knowledge of IoT platforms and cloud connectivity.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and testing.
- Understanding of EMC/EMI compliance and safety standards.

You will be based in our Rayong plant.
