Reimagine What’s Possible 


1.  Ensure efficient and effective implementation of all Air Products electrical safe work practices and standards in keeping with worldwide practices. 
2.  Provide and execute training and qualification programs of all plant based AP operation and maintenance personnel whose duties involve handling and interrogation of electrical equipment such as medium voltage switchgear, low voltage control center and similar equipment.
3.  Provide technical support for the safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment to operation and maintenance teams including analysis of equipment operation, troubleshooting of equipment failure, and driving any changes to achieve more reliable operations.
4.  Ensure safe execution of technical changes and modification to electrical equipment and system as needed for continuous on-stream operation of process equipment and systems
5.  Provide technical leadership to plant management team through timely provision of information, drawings, manuals, and other documentation for safe and competent repair and troubleshooting of failed electrical equipment and systems.
6.  Manage, implement, execute projects and initiatives as directed by AOTS Regional Management in conjunction with sub-region Operations Management.

Skills Required

  • Knowledge and implementation of electrical safe work practices and worldwide standards
  • Ability to provide and execute training and qualification programs for plant operations and maintenance personnel
  • Experience with medium voltage switchgear
  • Experience with low voltage control centers
  • Technical troubleshooting and analysis of electrical equipment operation and failures
  • Capability to manage and implement technical changes/modifications to electrical systems while maintaining on-stream operations
  • Provide electrical drawings, manuals, and documentation to support safe repair and troubleshooting
  • Project management and execution of plant electrical initiatives in coordination with regional and operations management
