We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to take on a team leadership role within our Waikato/Tauranga Building Services group.
You’ll be part of a network of over 400 Building Services Engineers across Asia Pacific, working with diverse clients on projects that will enhance your leadership and technical capabilities.
In this role, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering growth and collaboration
Provide electrical design philosophy and technical guidance across projects
Deliver electrical building services design from concept to completion, including construction monitoring and commissioning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical drawings, specifications, and reports
Perform calculations for transformers, generators, UPS systems, lighting, and cable sizing

Ko wai koe | About you
You’re a qualified Electrical Engineer with:
At least 6 years’ experience in low voltage electrical Building Services design and/or commissioning
A consulting background and a passion for building client relationships
Strong technical design and project management skills
A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
Experience with tools such as PowerCAD, AGI32, Bluebeam, and Revit (preferred)
Familiarity with relevant NZ/Australian standards (desirable)
Chartered status (CPEng) or actively working towards chartership
