In this role, what you will do
- Perform maintenance and repair on all site electrical equipment and control systems, and document maintenance results as required.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans for designated electrical equipment, execute the plans, and record implementation outcomes.
- Identify equipment abnormalities or defects, propose technical improvement plans, and carry out the approved modifications.
- Support instrument and mechanical maintenance teams in performing related instrument, mechanical, and electrical repair and servicing tasks.
- Manage spare parts for electrical equipment within assigned areas, including requisition, inventory control, and documentation.
- Participate in emergency repair work during nights, weekends, or public holidays based on operational needs.
- Comply with all company EHS regulations and complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Familiar with plant power distribution systems and electrical equipment maintenance; proficient in inverter commissioning, HMI programming, and experienced in PLC programming and related projects.
- Solid understanding of automation control systems such as Siemens and ABB, including principles, installation, commissioning, and maintenance; capable of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, fault handling, and equipment modification.
- Experience with DCS systems, instrumentation, or paper machine drive systems is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in large multinational companies or non-standard automation projects are preferred. Strong English skills are an advantage.
