Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As a key member of our engineering department, you will lead complex electrical projects, drive innovation, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our electrical systems and designs.
- Develop and optimize electrical systems and equipment for industrial projects, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation
- Lead and manage electrical engineering tasks across all project phases, from initial scoping and feasibility studies to detailed design and commissioning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
- Prepare and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and functional descriptions for electrical and control systems
- Conduct power system analysis and modeling to optimize electrical network performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the engineering team
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project presentations
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve project outcomes and operational efficiency
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and maintaining client relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering design experience in buildings and infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary team environments and project management
- Proficiency in electrical design software and power system modeling tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM)
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting and modeling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in designing high-voltage transmission systems and standby generation systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings when required
