What you get to do:
- Enthusiastically represents the organization by displaying a positive attitude and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job
- Help educate park guests, school groups, camp participants and private groups about the animals in residence
- Conduct informative and engaging animal presentations on microphone, behind the scenes tours, VIP experiences, sleepovers, camp and student programs
- Act as department trainer for new staff
- Coordinate specialty projects, such as curriculum development, staff training, or community outreach programs
- Evaluate entry level staff on interpretive skills
- Prepare, organize, and maintain all education program materials for assigned areas of responsibility
- Fulfill primary responsibilities of all preceding job descriptions and perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years old
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Demonstrate high quality guest service and interpretation skills
- Valid state driver’s license
- Previous experience training and developing staff preferred
- Able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements to include, but not limited to, passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
- Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid- and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to follow all park and departmental policies and procedures
- Willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines, safety, and employment standards

- Able to lift, push and pull 25 pounds
