Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Senior eCommerce Manager to lead the acceleration of our online business across the UK. This is a role for someone who thrives on building, shaping, and delivering results in a space that’s full of potential. You’ll have the freedom to set the direction, create the structure, and make a real impact from day one.
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish and operationalise our eCommerce presence from the ground up.
- Lead Amazon 1P onboarding, negotiate vendor terms, and develop brand plans across our portfolio.
- Explore and test 3P capability to complement 1P, ensuring commercial and brand control.
- Improve content, visibility, and activation plans across major Grocery.com customers.
- Collaborate with brand and shopper teams to define and manage paid search, display, and retail media budgets to maximise ROI.
- Partner with brand teams to secure and deploy digital-ready assets
- Track performance via dashboards and KPIs; identify actions to close performance gaps.
- Recommend tools, partners, and platforms to strengthen execution and reporting capability.
- Champion best-practice digital commerce internally, coaching stakeholders on requirements and opportunity areas.
- Strong commercial understanding of eCommerce business models and digital retail economics.
- Proven track record managing or growing eCommerce businesses within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Experience working with or within Amazon (Vendor Central, Seller Central).
- Exposure to Grocery.com accounts (Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Ocado, Waitrose).
- Hands-on experience setting up or optimising digital media investment (search, display, retail media).
- Strong understanding of digital content requirements and digital shelf execution standards.
- Excellent cross-functional influence skills – able to align marketing, sales, and external partners.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
- A self-starter who’s comfortable building structure in an under-developed area.
