The Role

The Senior Director of Total Rewards & Compensation will lead the strategic design, implementation, and management of Natera's global compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that our total rewards offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's objectives to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in total rewards management within a dynamic, high-growth environment, ideally with a public company background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy that supports Natera's business goals and enhances employee engagement.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Compensation Management:
    • Design and oversee competitive compensation programs, including base pay structures, short- and long-term incentives, executive compensation, and equity compensation.
    • Conduct regular market analyses to ensure pay practices remain competitive and equitable.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Manage comprehensive benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
    • Evaluate and enhance benefits offerings to meet the evolving needs of employees.
    • Oversee relationships with benefits vendors and brokers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure all total rewards programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
