As the Senior Director, EMEA Technical Advisory at Autodesk, you will report to the VP of Technical Advisory and will head up Consulting Delivery for our largest customers within the EMEA region. You will lead a large team chartered to drive transformational services that foster strong customer relationships and ensure successful Autodesk solution adoption.
What you will do
Lead a team of 100+ employees responsible for Consulting Delivery and contribute to overall customer success and adoption
Develop and execute against regional strategic plans that ensure the local Consulting Delivery team meets organizational objectives
Identify and define the strategic regional Consulting Delivery requirements and build capacity plans to meet these local needs
Be accountable for delivering an annual regional revenue of >$50M, a bookings target of >$80M, and successful adoption of Autodesk solutions
Engage with senior customer executives to demonstrate Autodesk thought leadership, cocreate strategic plans, and drive mutually beneficial outcomes
Partner with EMEA Enterprise Customer Group leadership to ensure the successful sale and delivery of services and provide high-level consultation in support of sales opportunities where appropriate
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional, customer-facing teams to ensure positive customer experience and value delivery
Coach teams to connect their work to business outcomes and drive growth opportunities
Establish clear workplans to help teams anticipate risks, deliver on time, and surface new growth opportunities
Attract, hire, and retain an elite group of consultants, and foster career development, global collaboration, and high standards to maintain a world-class practice
Instill and champion company culture and values throughout the team and ensure alignment with organizational standards
Conduct performance reviews, develop career advancement plans, and implement succession planning strategies for team members across all levels
Lead organizational change initiatives and drive process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency and team effectiveness
Monitor business success metrics, evaluate business performance, and provide regular executive reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to ensure consulting services remain competitive and aligned with customer needs
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and delivery risks to ensure consistent service quality and maintain customer relationships
Minimum qualifications
Minimum of 15+ years’ experience in leading customer-facing organizations
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration or a related field
Strong financial acumen with experience in team leadership, budget allocation, and resource optimization
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency
Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and motivate high-performing teams
In-depth knowledge of the industry needs of Autodesk customers
Comprehensive understanding of consulting metrics and KPIs with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to continuously improve customer engagement
A customer-centric mindset with the ability to consistently deliver superior customer experiences and foster long-term relationships
Ability to travel up to 30% per year
