About the Role
Intel Foundry is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Director to lead Supplier Quality and Reliability. Reporting to the VP/GM of Intel Foundry Quality, Reliability and Labs, this leader will define the vision and execute the strategy to eliminate supplier-related quality incidents across wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, substrates, assembly, and test.
This leader will partner with high-impact Intel Foundry leaders across manufacturing, technology development, automation, sourcing, engineering, labs, customer quality, and suppliers to strengthen prevention, accountability, decision-making, and sustained improvement. The ideal candidate brings executive presence, supplier influence, and a record of improving quality across complex global supply chains. External foundry or semiconductor supplier quality leadership experience is preferred.
This role requires periodic domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute supplier quality and reliability strategy aligned with Intel Foundry roadmaps and customer commitments.
- Lead a global Supplier Quality and Reliability organization across equipment, materials, packaging, assembly, and test.
- Communicate supplier performance, risks, decisions, and mitigation plans to executives.
- Deploy qualification, audit, surveillance, release, and prevention systems across suppliers and sub-tier suppliers.
- Control supplier changes across materials, configurations, firmware/software, packaging, handling, and logistics.
- Partner across manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, labs, customer quality, and suppliers to align priorities and reduce risk.
- Define metrology and monitoring systems for equipment, incoming materials, and manufacturing process interactions.
- Drive containment, root cause, corrective action, recurrence prevention, and supplier accountability for major excursions.
- Direct engagement with supplier executives on a peer-to-peer basis for roadmap development and implementation and issue containment and resolution
Experience Required:
- Experience with semiconductor quality management systems, supplier qualification, audits, change control, corrective action, and risk reduction.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment in complex technical environments.
- Leadership experience in supplier quality, reliability, manufacturing quality, or supply chain quality within semiconductor, foundry, advanced packaging, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Experience leading global teams, executive supplier engagements, and quality improvement programs across multi-tier supplier ecosystems.
- Strong business acumen with experience connecting technical execution to customer, financial, and operational outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field required. Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, or PhD preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, technology development, supplier quality, reliability, or a related technical field.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $213,650.00-301,620.00 USD
