Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead our team of Solutions Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strong technical skills, customer focused communication, and sales expertise. This position will play a meaningful role in partnering with our Core Solutions Engineering organization, guiding our prospects through their buying journey by effectively demonstrating the value of Tableau & analytics in addition to the Salesforce C360 platform, addressing technical concerns, and ensuring alignment between our solutions and our clients' business needs.
 

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing Solutions specialist managers and their respective ICs.
Set goals and objectives for the team, fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
Provide regular coaching and professional development opportunities to improve team skills in both technical and client-facing capacities.
Conduct performance reviews and support team members in their career development within the company.
Pre-Sales Support and Technical Expertise
Act as the primary technical leader within the Solutions Tableau organization, ensuring that all technical requirements are addressed in collaboration with Core Solutions, Sales and Product teams.
Work alongside Solutions leaders and ICs to provide high-level and detailed product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proofs of concept (PoCs) for prospects and customers.
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand new product developments and share customer feedback to influence future roadmap decisions.
Ensure alignment between the customer’s technical requirements and the Salesforce analytics capabilities, advocating for the best possible outcome for each prospect.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Initiatives
Partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to develop collateral, training, and tools that support the sales process.
Lead initiatives to improve demo environments, technical documentation, and pre-sales enablement to streamline the sales cycle.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Solutions Tableau team.
Leverage data to identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to optimize the pre-sales experience.
Experience:
Experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or related roles
Proven track record of managing and scaling technical teams.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of Tableau, SaaS products, Salesforce C360 solutions and related technologies.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
Other:
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Willingness to travel as needed (if applicable) to support sales engagements.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.

For New Jersey based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $238,980 to $319,620.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
