The Senior Director of Software Engineering will closely work with Software Engineers, Product Tech/ML Ops and Function Tech Leads in their role.

Join us on an exciting journey as we build a new, centralized Computational Sciences organization. We are on a mission to revolutionize how therapeutics are discovered and developed by realizing the full potential of data and technology. As the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will be a visionary technical leader at the heart of this transformation, defining and executing the strategy for our foundational Data Fabric and building the teams that make it a reality.

  • Lead the architectural design of our data ecosystem, leveraging modern patterns like microservices and event-driven design to ensure our systems are robust and interoperable.

  • Champion an Open Source, Cloud First, API First, and AI First approach to problem-solving, influencing the adoption of key technologies and methodologies.

  • Integrate diverse data sets to enable a wide range of use cases, from advanced AI/ML models and natural language search to reporting and analytics.

  • Establish and foster strong collaborative partnerships with scientific and technical leaders across the organization to break down silos and accelerate innovation.

  • Act as a key contributor to our resourcing strategy, ensuring priorities are staffed effectively to deliver maximum impact.
